What certification took one business, and why we built Clearline Kits
What ISO certification took one business (tens of thousands of dollars in consultant fees and a couple of months), and why we built Clearline Kits.

The consultant route
At our founder's previous business, getting certified meant hiring a consultant. It cost tens of thousands of dollars and took a couple of months. Until certification came through, the business couldn't bid for work that required it. None of that was the consultant's fault. It's one business's experience, and costs vary.
What we learned
Having seen what certification involved, our founder came away with two observations.
First, not every business can or wants to spend that on a consultant.
Second, those businesses still want a clear idea of what's involved in working towards certification.
That's why we built Clearline Kits.
What Clearline Kits are, and what they aren't
Clearline Kits are documentation kits for three management system standards:
ISO 9001:2026 (quality)
ISO 14001:2026 (environment)
ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety)
Each kit is a set of editable Word, Excel and PowerPoint templates. It contains the essential documents and records organised around the standard's clauses, a clause-to-document map, a step-by-step implementation guide and a gap-analysis checklist with a scoring dashboard. There's also an Integrated Management System Bundle that covers all three standards in one integrated document set.
The kits are built on each standard's published clause structure and public guidance. They don't include the text of the ISO standards, so you'll still need your own copy. They haven't been checked against the official texts of the standards.
A kit isn't a consultant. It won't do the work for you, and it won't make decisions about your business. A kit doesn't replace what a consultant does: your team does the work, and you'll still need a certification body's audit, which is a separate cost. It doesn't make the certification process faster. It also can't certify you: only a certification body can do that, and we don't guarantee certification or audit results. Implementing the system, running it and getting through the audit is still your work.
What a kit can give you is clarity: a structured view of what documents and records the standard asks for, where your current system stands, and the order in which to work through it. For a business that needs certification and wants to understand what's involved before spending money, that clarity is a good place to start.
Where to start
If you're working towards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001, start with our free gap-analysis checklist. It's a scored workbook that shows where your current system stands, clause by clause (clauses 4 to 10), before you spend anything:

If you'd like the full documentation, the kits are listed with their prices at clearlinekits.com/pricing/.
Whichever route you choose (a consultant, a kit, or doing it from scratch), we hope this helps you understand what's involved before you start.
Clearline Kits are sold by ReadyByArvo (ABN 22 905 770 134). Not affiliated with or endorsed by ISO. Our kits don't include the text of ISO standards, and only a certification body can certify your organisation.
