Early Access License
Last updated: [DATE OF PUBLICATION] · Version: EA-1
This license applies to the kits we give you free as part of the Clearline Systems early-access test (the "Kits"). "We", "us" means Clearline Systems, a sole trader business in New South Wales, Australia. "You" means the person who asked for early access and the organization they asked for ("Your Organization": one legal entity, including its sites). By asking for early access or downloading the kit, you agree to this license.
1. What this is. A free pre-launch test. Before we start selling, we give a limited number of organizations free early access, and ask for feedback in return. We'll accept up to 15 organizations. Each organization gets one place, which covers the Kits for the standards it chose (ISO 9001:2026, ISO 14001:2026 and/or ISO 45001:2018). Early access isn't a sale, a trial that turns into a paid subscription, or a promotion. You don't have to buy anything, now or later.
2. What you may do. You may use, copy, adapt and edit the Kits' files for Your Organization's own internal purposes, with any number of people inside Your Organization. You may share documents you've adapted with your auditors, certification body, regulators, customers and suppliers as part of running Your Organization's management system.
3. What you may not do. You may not, whether or not you've changed the files:
- use the Kits for any other organization, including clients, related companies or other group entities;
- use it to provide consulting, training or implementation services to others (consultant use needs a separate license, which isn't available yet);
- sell, sublicense, give away, publish, upload or otherwise share the Kits, their files or your download links, including on template marketplaces, file-sharing sites or public repositories;
- remove our copyright notices from the unadapted files you keep.
4. What the Kits are, and aren't.
- Pre-launch versions. Each Kit is built on its standard's published clause structure and public guidance about what each clause asks for. We haven't yet checked the Kits against the official texts of the standards, and they may contain errors or gaps. Items marked "Coming before launch" aren't included.
- No ISO text. The Kits don't include the text of any ISO standard, other than clause numbers and short clause titles for cross-reference. You need your own copy of each standard from ISO or your national standards body.
- No certification promise. We don't promise or guarantee that you'll pass an audit or achieve, keep or renew certification. Only a certification body makes certification decisions.
- Not advice. Legal, regulatory and health and safety content in the Kits is general and may not apply where you are. It isn't legal or professional safety advice.
- Compatibility. Standard Word/Excel/PowerPoint formats; Office and Google compatibility testing in progress.
- Not affiliated with ISO. "ISO" and standard numbers such as "ISO 9001" are used only to describe which standard a kit relates to. ISO's name and marks belong to ISO. We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for ISO, any national standards body, accreditation body or certification body.
5. Feedback. We'll ask for feedback (short surveys and an optional call). Please try to give it, but you can stop at any time, and your license doesn't depend on it. You let us use your feedback, free and without restriction, to improve our products and run our business, and you confirm you're allowed to give it. Please don't include ISO standard text, confidential information or other people's personal information. We will only publish your name, your organization's name, a quote or a testimonial with your separate written permission, and we won't ask for or reward positive reviews in exchange for the kit.
6. Updates and support. While the test runs, we may send corrected files and answer questions by email. Support replies may be AI-assisted and will say so. You don't have to adopt any update.
7. Provided free and "as is", to the extent the law allows. The Kits are free and provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no other promises about them and aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a failed audit or a certification decision. Nothing in this license excludes, restricts or changes any right, remedy or guarantee you have under a law that can't be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and EU consumer law.
8. We may close or change the program. We'll accept up to 15 organizations. Places are limited, and we may end or close early access at any time and for any reason, even before 15 organizations have joined, and without notice, for example when we open paid sales. If you've been approved, closing early access doesn't affect you: you keep your Kits and this license. A request isn't a place: if we close early access before approving your request, we may not approve it. We may change this license for future requests; the version you accepted applies to your copy.
9. If you break section 3. If you seriously breach section 3 and don't fix it within 14 days of our written notice, we may end your license. You must then stop using and delete the unadapted files.
10. Ownership. We (or our licensors) own the copyright in the Kits. You own what you add.
11. Privacy. How we handle your details is explained in our Early Access and Newsletter Privacy Notice: https://clearlinekits.com/early-access/privacy/.
12. Governing law. This license is governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
